Abcott Construction was selected by Penske Truck Leasing to construct this 19,000 sf state of the art rental and repair facility. Designed by Scoler and Lee Architects it includes a Customer Rental Service area, Administration Offices, Service Department, Drivers Lounge, Parts Department, Service Bays, Wash Bay, Tire Storage Area and Fuel Island.
The use of conventional construction with the economy of pre-engineered building construction for the service bays gave the owner an attractive, economical building.
As a prototype we look forward to a close relationship with the Penske organization as their builder of choice in Ontario.

Work is continuing on the new 30,000 sf home for this existing longstanding business. The new space will include improved showroom areas including Lincoln display, drive thru for customer convenience, heavy truck and light vehicle shop maintenance areas. Opening for the shop areas is planned for the end of June with the Showroom ready for occupancy at the end of July.

The owner required a new 90,000 sf facility to incorporate manufacturing, testing, offices and employee facilities to replace an old and inadequate building. Abcott Construction utilized a Butler pre-engineered building system to construct a new home located in the new industrial park, off Highway #403, on time and on budget.

When the Dana Corporation realized they needed a new 90,000 sf home for their driveshaft assembly plant, built on a very tight schedule. Abcott Construction proposed a design/build team approach, including the City of Brantford, to get the job done on time. This project included manufacturing, offices and employee facilities.

This 100,000 sf steel warehousing and processing facility included 45 and 20 ton overhead cranes, complex concrete foundations for the process line, 6200 sf administrative office/employee facility and exterior steel coil storage area. Constructed to house Pickling Line No. 7, the second of two lines completed by Abcott Construction for Nelson Steel.
